Welcoming a new baby is one of the most special and transformative times in your life and it goes by in a blur. From that first flutter in your tummy to those squishy newborn cuddles, the early days are filled with magic... and sleep deprivation!

That’s exactly why maternity and newborn photography is so meaningful. These sessions are not just about taking beautiful photos, they’re about pressing pause during the chaos and capturing the love, anticipation, and wonder of this chapter in your family’s story.

You might feel unsure about being in front of the camera while pregnant, maybe you’re tired, swollen, and not quite feeling your best. But here’s the thing: your body is doing something truly incredible. And one day, your child will look at these images and see how loved they were before they even arrived 💞

All of my maternity sessions are relaxed, guided, and tailored just for you. You’ll never need to worry about posing, I’m there to support and direct you every step of the way. You even get to borrow dresses from my client wardrobe to feel your most confident and radiant.

Why Book a Newborn Session?

The newborn stage is so fleeting, those curled-up poses, tiny toes, milk-drunk expressions... they don’t last long. My newborn sessions take place in my cosy high street studio in Barnoldswick, and are for babies under 4 weeks old when they are still sleepy and settled.

You’ll get to sit back, relax, have a hot brew and some snacks (possibly even nap!) while I gently and safely pose your baby and create beautiful, timeless images you’ll treasure forever.

And yes — siblings are always welcome! We typically do baby photos first, followed by family and sibling shots towards the end of the session, keeping things calm and enjoyable for everyone.
